Hey guys! I’m sharing the results for my survey I published 2 weeks ago, but one of the main posts everyone wanted to see more of was reviews. I’m sharing my thoughts on FFF’s Welcome Box that I just received yesterday. I’ve been wanting to get a subscription box for almost a year, but finally ordered one a few weeks ago. It was a tough decision between FabFitFun and PopSugar’s Must Have box. I’ve read a lot of good reviews of FabFitFun’s box, so I decided on that one. The FFF box is $49.99 and comes quarterly (spring, summer, fall, and winter box), and the PopSugar Must Have Box is $39.99 and comes every month.
I originally ordered the Winter box from FabFitFun but they were sold out, so they sent me the Welcome Box Bundle for $49.99 (the bundle is originally$69.99, but since they messed up the order I received $20 off). The bundle comes with a speaker and a fruit-infuser water bottle. The packaging is really cute, on the outside and inside of the box. The speaker seems pretty nice (I have yet to test it out). I think I’ll put this speaker in my purse, sine I already have 2 other speakers. It’ll be nice to have a small, portable speaker to break out whenever I want so I can jam out in the car. Next, was the fruit-infuser water bottle. I was really happy to see this. I don’t drink that much water, but this bottle will probably urge me to start drinking that delicious strawberry water. Only con is that the cap of the water-infuser BROKE when I first opened it. Bummer, but not a big deal.
Now, the fun part! The actual items in the box. The total retail value of this box is $316, I know, calm down. And that’s not including the bonus item of a $25 gift card to Shoptiques.
Items in the box:
Wren 14kt Dipped Necklace ($100), Passport to Beauty Eye Serum ($28), Frends “The Donna” Earbud ($80), Gorge Daily Spray ($25), Cosmobody Jump Rope ($25), Zoya Nail Polish in Avril ($9), Organic Valley Protein Shake ($3)
I really like this necklace. I don’t wear too much jewelry but I’m excited to try this out and see if I like it. You can receive a horse shoe, a moon, or heart.
As always, I love skincare and can’t wait to try out this serum. This serum reduces fine lines and wrinkles and stimulates collagen and elastin. I’ve tried the Yes to Grapefruits eye brightening serum and it didn’t really work, so I don’t want to get my hopes up. I love the packaging of this product, though. Kudos to Passport to Beauty, they know what they’re doing!
I’ve seen the Frends over-ear headphones, but never tried them. These super-chic headphones are comfortable and very similar to the Apple headphones (plus a little more pizzazz). I’m excited to try these!
Once again, packaging is adorable and chic. I have so many sea salt and everything sprays, so I don’t really need another one. But, I’ll obviously try this one. I love sprays that help reduce frizz, since I blow-dry and straighten my hair a few times a week. Also, my hair gets really tangled when I leave it in a bun, and since this is a leave-in conditioner, I think this will really help with my tangles. I’m hoping to do a review on this product in a separate post next week!
I think this jumprope is a sign for me to start working out again. I did a trial month of yoga right after Christmas, and I loved it. I’m hoping this little nudge will get me to do a fun cardio workout starting this week. Maybe next week.
I literally never paint my nails, so I think I’ll give this to the sista. But, the color is really pretty, perfect for spring. I think FFF went with the color(s) of the year, since this polish is very similar to Rose Quartz. They also offered it in Serenity.
I rarely eat breakfast, but this is a cute little extra to add to the box. This is a great excuse for me to have chocolate for breakfast. Also, it has quite a few grams o’ protein and few calories, so I count this as a very healthy breakfast. Well, that’s what I tell myself.
Overall, I’m really happy with the items in this
