Happy Friday! I’m so ready for the weekend since I’ll be heading over to one of my favorite restaurants, Bowl of Heaven. It’s this place that makes acai bowls and it’s so delicious and healthy (who would’ve thought those two could go together?). Later today, I’m heading out for a bridal party rooftop dinner with my sister and the other bridesmaids. I’m supa’ excited! Anyway, considering the fact that all my weekend plans involve food and that’s not interesting, let’s get into two of my favorite trends. Mules and off-the-shoulder tops! Plus, you can get 25% off your entire order at Restricted Shoes with my code: PRETTYTHINGS25. You deserve cute shoes for the weekend, we all do

I was really excited to get photos down with Behr because she’s super cute (admit it) but she wasn’t to interested. You probably can’t tell, HA!
I’m sure you’ve seen, and probably own a few, off the shoulder tops. They’re a gorgeous top for summer and I’ve already styled one here and here! I love a simple white top and this Michael Kors OTS top was a score from Marshall’s. The little ruffle on top is everything. <<< I love me some ruffles! It looks v cute with high-waisted shorties, too. But more importantly, let’s chit chat about mules. I have this outfit which I styled with tan mules but these black ones from Restricted Shoes are a stunner! I love the open toe and the heel isn’t too high so they add some height without being uncomfortable. <<< That’s so important to me right now for work because I like to look chic but I’m standing 7+ hours so I can’t have anything that’s killing my feet.
I was originally sent a pair of lace-up wedges which are so cute but they ended up selling out before I was able to share! But that also meant I was sent a second pair (score) so now I have two gorgeous pairs of shoes. Restricted Shoes has so many pretty styles and the best part is that they’re affordable! My favorites, besides my lovely mules, is the ‘Carolynn‘ and the ‘Weekday‘.
PS My jeans are Old Navy and I ended up sizing up and the waist is at least 4 inches too big. They’re mid-rise, which is always a problem for me, but I love the shade and how simple and chic they are!
