My Outfit on Polyvore: Dreaming of Spring

Hey dolls! I feel like it’s been forever since I last did an outfit on Polyvore. To be exact, it was 3 weeks ago.  I was so excited to share this one, that I switched today’s post for tomorrow (another outfit!).
Spring is definitely in the air, even though it’s still in the low 40s, and all the snow has melted. I’m getting more and more excited for spring and summer. Ok, maybe not having school is a factor as well. Fine, a big factor. But who doesn’t get excited for swimsuits and shorts? 🙋🏽
I decided to use Charlotte Russe as inspiration for this outfit because not only do I love how affordable their clothes are (good quality too!), they’re super cute and fashionable. Plus, they always have tons of great sales going on (BOGO 50%, BOGO free, $25 shoes, you get the idea) and I love me a good sale. If you guys haven’t shopped (or heard 😮) of Charlotte Russe, definitely go check out their site. It’s been one of my favorites for many, many years and they have great customer service to help you along.
I’ve been seeing a lot of strappy bralettes on Instagram and Pinterest. I kept the top easy, with a plain v neck and  simple bralette but if you want something a little more daring, I love this bralette as well. I work with kids, so I always try to be more modest and this was a great way to combine trends and stick to my fashion roots.
Lately, I’ve been obsessing over high-waisted and tomgirl shorts. You can’t get much cuter then this. And since my tomgirl jeans are my favorite, it makes sense I’d make AEO’s tomgirl shorts my favorite, right?
Keeping it simple with the accessories as well. I love these earrings so much. It’s a really classy design, and adds the perfect touch to a casual outfit. To add a pop of color (shocking I know, I almost went with grey shoes, lol) these d’orsay cobalt blue flats worked out perfectly for the outfit and spring! And finally, I small crossbody to finish the look.

Thanks for reading! What do you guys think of this outfit? Have you bought anything from CR before?
