Hey everybody! Today is a very exciting day! Why? Brittany Fenton, a blogger from Australia (I know, I know, pretty cool), is sharing a post on my blog! In the meanwhile, I’m posting my rendition of this simple and natural makeup look on her blog. Read on to meet Brittany and learn her tutorial! Click here for my post. Thanks for reading!
Hello everyone, isn’t it odd of Lydia to say ‘hello’? Well that’s because it isn’t Lydia, it’s Brittany, from the blog Brittany Fenton.
I am a beauty, fashion and lifestyle blogger based in Australia! Lydia and I decided to collaborate by each writing a blog post on each others blog. We are both doing a ‘no-makeup makeup’ look, so you can see two different natural looks. You can have a look at Lydia’s post on my blog here.
STEP 1: BASE
A good, light coverage base is a perfect step for no-makeup makeup and the perfect product is this NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer. This adds such a glow to your face, whilst also moisturizing it. However it adds a tiny bit of coverage, mainly colour correcting any discolouration.
Next for under my eyes is the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer, and if you haven’t heard about this, where have you been?! This product is the best for brightening under your eyes and highlighting parts of your face.
Then for any blemishes, I’ll go for the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, which matches my skin tone perfectly so it does an amazing job at hiding my spots!
To set that all in place I will add my Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in transparent. This keeps my face from melting whilst also adding no coverage, since it is transparent.
STEP 2: DEFINITION
A good, natural blush is something I can never go past, and my favourite for a natural look is the Essence Silky Touch Blush in the shade Baby Doll. This is such a good product for a ridiculously cheap price!
To highlight, the MAC mineralized Skin Finish in Soft and Gentle is my go-to. This adds such a healthy glow to your face, but isn’t over the top.
STEP 3: EYES
For brows I am keeping it simple, I just give them a quick comb through with my L’oreal Brow Artist Plumber. This defines them whilst also keeping them natural
My favourite natural mascara has to be the Covergirl Clump Crusher and to be honest I accidentally got it in the shade ‘dark brown’ but was pleasantly surprised as it works perfectly for giving your eyelashes a subtle bit of lift.
STEP 4: LIPS
Keeping it natural I am using my EOS Lipbalm in the flavour Strawberry Sorbet.
That is all for my completed look! What are your favourite no-makeup makeup products?
